What to Expect

No stiff poses. No matching outfits required. No stress.

My sessions are all about capturing your family just as you are — playful, messy, quiet, chaotic, connected — however your real life looks. Think of it like a family outing or hangout where I happen to be tagging along with a camera.

Here’s what you can expect:

Real Moments, Not Posed Perfection

We’ll skip the “smile at the camera” stuff and instead focus on laughter, connection, and the in-between moments that actually matter. I’ll gently guide you when needed, but mostly I’ll step back and let your family’s natural rhythm lead the way.

Play Over Posing

I’ll bring a few light prompts and games to help things unfold naturally — like:

“Let’s race to that tree — but in slow motion.”
“Can you jump over that stick like it’s a river full of crocodiles?”
“Pretend the ground is lava in 3… 2… 1!”

You don’t need to practice anything or coach your kids ahead of time. Just show up, be yourselves, and let the magic happen.

Come As You Are

Worried your kids will be shy? Or wild? Or both? Don’t be. Every family has its own energy, and all of it is welcome. The only “right way” to show up is exactly how you are.

Photos That Live With You

We’ve all done it — taken beautiful photos that end up buried in the cloud or forgotten on a flash drive. Let’s do something different this time.

After your session, I’ll carefully curate a selection of your very best images — no overwhelming galleries to sort through. We’ll walk through them together and choose the perfect ones to display in your home. I’ll guide you through product options, sizing, framing, and placement.

Because your family’s love deserves to be seen every day — not just liked on a screen.

What You’ll Walk Away With

A collection of images that feel like your life: full of love, laughter, and connection — with all the quirks and chaos included. Because that’s the good stuff.

Hi, I’m Lisa and it’s wonderful to meet you!

I live in New York City with my husband, three-year-old daughter, and infant son. As typical New Yorkers, we live in a small apartment and are always trying to keep our possessions to a minimum. However, sacred memories stored in photographs will always have a place in our home.

My goal as a photographer is to celebrate your family’s love, joy, connection, and playfulness within our photo session. We then turn beautiful photographs into highly personalized artwork for your home. Artwork that tickles your heart every time you see it. Artwork that truly matters.
